The QRS XL. Computer editor instead of front panel elements, and the logic
all in FPGA's or whatever. Much cheaper (The original Quantec sold for
DM 27,000 - that's 12,000 Dollars in today's exchange rate!), but they
didn't sell many - the computer editor solution was a few years ahead of
its time. Not that a "user interface freak" like me would like it today.
