>>>> Could anyone share his or her(?) experience with the Universal Event Generator of Encore Electronics? I'm thinking about a sequencer to go with my motm setup. <<<< I own two of these. They are fine modules. Think of them as super looping transient generators with a free basic sequence mode thrown in. They will do basic 8 x 1 sequencing well, but don't have dedicated stage outputs, random stage selects, or other features found on dedicated sequencers. I use mine with the quantize bank on my MiniWave whenever I need precise chromatically tuned pitches, which makes it very convenient. You can also use the Time knobs to control the duration of each stage, something that most other sequencers require a second row of pots to do. And one shot mode is easy to do and fun. I'd say you should get one, you won't be disappointed. Moe
