MOTM

hello all,
some months ago i mentioned in passing that i had both midwest analog bass &
snare modules, someone out there expressed an interest in what i thought of
them, as he had a pair sat in a box unopened or something (some kits are
destined to stay this way alas)
anyway, after a year of procrastination i just finished them - and since i
put them on MOTM format panels, i'd say that's temporarily ontopic, anyway
the snare is okay, it sounded a bit weak - a bit like a simmons sdsv (even
my girlfriend mentioned that!) until i put it thru some reverb, oh yes, then
it came alive - it has got something like 12 controls, so i have to get used
to it
the same with the bass, it seems okay until you hit the magic patch then it
sounds awesome, at one point it was sounding like a Korg DDM something or
other.
anyway - well worth finishing off these modules, add a little motm or oakley
for hihats and you've a big f*** off drum machine
