Note that the 80C320 is a "family" of high speed 8051 derivatives. Chances are, the actual part will be the 87C520. It has: a) 16K EPROM on-chip. This is where the Keil monitor resides, and the FLASH memory boot code. b) extra 1K SRAM for temp. variable storage. This is *real* handy! The actual Seq software resides in external FLASH, so we can update it using the 2nd serial port (the other serial port is dedicated to MIDI).
