I do prefer the black ones, too.
I think taking SKB-cases as a reference is fine for me ( 3/4" width ).
IMPORTANT for the people in Europe (like me) :
The holes (outlets) for the mounting screws should be (at least) of 6 mm
width (which is obviously more than the rails Paul did supply have ). This
would allow to use them without modifying the racks. They have metric nuts -
M6.
I do estimate to need 8 end caps to be on the safe side. Most of my modules
are moving to flat rails, soon.
Btw - I think it's time to think about a forum for used rack-rails :-)
