One feature I'd like to see in a step sequencer is programmable pitch 
sets for the CV knobs. I guess this'd be kind of like a quantizer. 
What I'm thinking is that you can program a specific set of CV values 
to the knobs of the sequencer , like a specific scale, a collection 
of notes, whatever, and then as you spin the knobs while playing, the 
CV will be constrained to the programmed set of values. This way, you 
don't accidentally get pitches outside of the scale you want, etc.
