MOTM

If you have the exact connectors that ship with MOTM, the top of the
connector slides off, you insert the wires (UNSTRIPPED!!!!) into the slots,
and slide the top back on, which forces the wires down into sharp channels
which cut through the insulation and make contact.

I can't speak for other flavors of connectors.
