Bob, the 800 EG generates only control voltages. You cannot run audio through the 800 EG. You can use the EG control voltage outputs to control VCAs or VCFs that can be used to process audio. Just how are you hooking your 800 to your Opus3 ? I plugged my Moog (I'm running it through an Opus 3) into the Gate jack, pressed down a couple of keys and got a terribly distorted and scratchy sound in return. It was like the envelope was trying to generate the sound, but couldn't. I looked over the pcb and the directions and everything seems to be in the right place. So I was wondering if the problem might lie in the soldering of the jacks. Or maybe it lies in the soldering of the pots, I'm not sure. I'm terribly new with EE and thought I'd ask you guys for some thoughts instead of spending endless hours trying to figure out what might be the problem. thanks in advance, -Bob K Your use of Yahoo!
