I echo this sentiment.

My first order had two kits - a power supply and a VCO. Opposite ends of the
difficulty spectrum! I finished the power supply in ten minutes and the VCO
over several nights. Both worked. Difficulty in an MOTM kit usually just
refers to parts count and how careful you have to be, not necessarily
exceptional skill levels.

Now, after about 25 or so kits, I can bang out an EG in about 80 minutes.
