Dave, That is a truly beautiful system! I'm curious to know if you have any problems with the interaction of the knobs and patch cords between the two top rows, the angle looks interesting. I also wonder if you will have more dust buildup on the lower row. I've found that the vertical mounting tends to only allow dust to settle on the knobs which is either kept clean via use or is easier to clean than panels.
