More MOTM modifications on line

2001-05-04 by J. Larry Hendry

I have added another modiciation page to my website that is a tune up for
the MOTM-110. These modifications were originally based on "factory
approved" changes as suggested by Paul in September of 1999. However, I
added one more small change and found that my results varied slightly from
Paul's (as he indicated they might).

The purpose of these modifications is to:
 - stop high frequency oscillation at higher gain
 - set gain to be zero at the zero mark
 - raise overall gain so that "1" on the gain knob actually = 1.0 gain
 - adjust CV mod so that 10 = unity gain with a MOTM-800 at max output.

The mods are easy. 3 resistors change value and one small cap is added
across one resistor.

Disclaimer: As always, I am not promoting these changes. I am simply
reporting the results of my modifications that were prompted by Paul's
original "tune up" memo. I am posting these as a public service for those
that may have missed Paul's original note or my posting to the list (over a
year ago).
