Everytime I see things like this come up I am amazed at what warped 
viewpoints get posted.  Who knows whether Doepfer just grapped the schematic 
to replicate or if he simply is incorporating some features he sees into a 
circuit designed from scratch.  In addition, all this finger pointing at 
Doepfer as theives coming from those who in themselves are copying the 
designs and engineering of others doesn't quite seem right.  It's also 
strange coming from those on the MOTM list when so far all the current MOTM 
filters, and yet to be released ones are rip-offs of Korg, SSM, and Oberheim 
designs.  And one of the modules that Doepfer came out with that people said 
he stole from JH, was infact a variation on a Polyfusion module that JH 
didn't exactly invent himself.  The ridiculousness of it all.

Sure you can.  Just use the same components which can be bought by anybody.
