Hi group, Using a single width panel for the AC switch/fuse/lamp and burying the actual power supply away in the case/rack is a good idea. I've done it in my new MOTM system. Some things to be aware of: -run the AC lines well away from audio and PSU lines. Try to cross the two at right angles if you have to. -use the correct fuse! A power supply module capable of supplying 1.5A @ 15VDC shouldn't draw more than 1 amp. A 2 amp slo-blo fuse in series on the live(!!!not nuetral!!!) should be fine. -keep the wiring neat and secure. Use heatshrink on switch/fuse terminals!! Remember, you're gonna be poking around in there with your hands. -if you don't know how to wire hi-voltage/current circuits then get the 900 PSU. I've lost a co-worker and friend to electricity and see much badly wired gear in my daily job as an audio tech. It gives me shivers. Please be careful so as to twiddle knobs til a ripe old age. Feel free to Email me personally with questions or problems. Cheers, Richard.
