Welcome to MOTM Scott.  You are not missing anything concerning the power
supplies.  There is nothing wrong with multiple 900s to power your system.
Some people just don't like giving up 3U of panel space for each 900 PS.
Some people building custom cases have actually mounted the 900 PS from the
back side which doesn't take away any real estate from sound modules.  That
seems to be a real nice idea.

reading these threads about getting larger power supplies than the
MOTM-900 and distributing it among several cabinets and I was
wondering: why not just put a MOTM-900 into each cabinet? (Assuming
that each cabinet is drawing less than 800 mA.) Is it simply a cost
factor? Or am I missing something?
