MOTM

I am working on adapting several non-MOTM kits to the MOTM format.

I now have several single-sided PCBs to stuff and solder.  I only have
experience (in the past 20 years) soldering double-sided boards.

What special precautions should be taken when soldering single-sided boards?
Do I still solder from the back of the board?
