Well, now I've done it. I've finally constucted my first moudle that I have some sort of problem with right off the bat :~( Module #17 in my system) A 110-VCA that seemed to be calibrating OK, but when it gets to calibrating the Y axis in the same fashion as the X axis, the Y trimmer makes no change in the voltage I am supposed to be measuring at the ring-mod out jack. I was suprised by this and plugged a 300 VCO tri wave into it with an sine 320 lfo modulating the CV input. The sound was kind of happening when all of the sudden there is this crazy "squirt " zipper type sound and the audio cuts out for a minute... then comes back in. The whole time the audio is in it sounds kind of distorted for a 300 tri wave. Where do I look first? The ring mod portion does not make ring mod sounds in any way right now. I tested that section after the VCA. There do not appear to be any messy assembly spots or poorly soldered joints and the coax looks fine, but this can sometimes be deceiving.
