I have one of these designs worked up and ready to breadboard so I can treat it mean. I was going to do this as a DIY circuit and panel and everything a while back. But, I discussed my DIY "to do" list with Paul and scratched some things off as they are near-term MOTM projects. My goal has been to gap fill with stuff that Paul has zero interest in (like that tube pre-amp - I am still in the "thinking and paper" stages on). Anyhow, I am actually quite fond of what I have come up with, and think it offers a lot of features in a nice little 1U utility package. So, I after I get done with testing and such, I am sending all my hard work to Paul for his evaluation for an official MOTM release (he challenged me). It may not be worthy. But, I accept this as the best way to get it rolling right now. And, I will have some fun messing with it. My goal is to make the thing compatible with as many different foot controllers as possible. I use the Yamaha FC-7 and think it is far superior to ANYthing else out there. But, I know some people may use the Roland EV-5(?) and perhaps others. So the help I need is: 1 - Tell me what you use. 2 - measure the pot size with a meter tell me what it is. 3 - tell me if the pot wiper is connected to the tip or ring on the 1/4" TRS plug.
