Milter-greylist newer starts

2004-12-16 by tliljebergh

Morning!

I have just installed milter-greylist 1.6 on solaris 8.

But when i try to start the appliacation it just ends whitout any
comment.

milter-greylist -u smmsp -p /var/milter-greylist/milter-greylist.sock

I have tryed the -v and -D option but no luck -D option just lists
the whitelisted entrys in the conf file.

Any clues?

My regards Tomas

Perhaps user "smmsp" doen't have permission to create the "sock"-file.
If you use -P /path/to/pid-file you may experiense the same (quiet) thing...
Atleast if using Solaris...

I would like to add that to the RFE-list :-)
Write a sort errormessage if milter-greylist can't write the "sock"-file/pid-file, due to file/directory permissions.
