Hello

As I understand, Yahoo groups is going to shut down. Any volunteer for
providing a mailing list somwhere else?

I don't really want to volunteer, but as I understand it, groups.io is
the least icky of the approaches that are easy and zero-cost, and I
think they have support for migrating from yahoogroups because, well,
you aren't the first one to want to do that!

Be aware that the "zero-cost" allows only 1GB of storage for emails, 
images, attachments etc etc.

10GB of storage is $US 10/month, 1TB of storage is $US 200/month.

As I understand it, Yahoo groups won't shut down. It will just become 
limited.
The mailinglist function should remain intact.

(It will also become private if it was a public group)

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
