How to troubleshoot emails not arriving

So I noticed that I was not getting emails from skype.com, which I solved by adding this to my config file:

racl whitelist domain skype.com
racl greylist not helo /\./ delay 4h
racl blacklist spf fail
racl greylist default delay 10m autowhite 10d

Is there a way to know if I need to add more excludes apart from realizing I am not getting messages? or is there a way to loosen up my criteria?

Peek at the logs?
