Error in first message after a startup of the daemon

Error in first message after a startup of the daemon

2011-07-20 by compconsultant

Each time the daemon is started, I get an error on the very first message coming in. Log file:

Jul 20 00:53:06 host2 postfix/smtpd[13760]: connect from tm10.bullet.mail.bf1.yahoo.com[98.139.213.14]Jul 20 00:53:36 host2 postfix/smtpd[13760]: warning: milter unix:/usr/local/var/milter-greylist/milter-greylist.sock: can't read SMFIC_RCPT reply packet header: Connection timed out

After the first message, it works without this error until the next timer milter-greylist is started. Any thoughts as to why this might be or what I can do to narrow down or resolve?

It's not just the first time the daemon is started, it happens at other times as well, not sure what the pattern is or why this message is there. Could it be due to some old bugs in postfix 2.3.3 found in Centos?

Any thoughts on why I might be getting this error? Seems like it may cause mails to be rejected as well.
