Can I reject unknown recipients before doing a dnsrbl lookup?

Can I reject unknown recipients before doing a dnsrbl lookup?

2009-06-08 by Delahunty, Mark

I use "greylist dnsrbl" and it is greylisting about 99% of the incoming
mail.

However, milter-greylist does the dnsrbl lookups for non-existent
recipient addresses, and we get _lots_ of these. Is there a way to
reject nonexistent recipients before doing the dnsrbl lookup?

Either include in the ACL the list of valid recipients (before the
dnsrbl access line of course), or use ldapcheck or urlcheck to lookg it
up from an external source.

you can set up milter-ahead before greylisting in sendmail configuration.
