curl urlcheck and ldapcheck authentication

curl urlcheck and ldapcheck authentication

2009-05-13 by Piotr Wadas

Hello,

what's about authentication to external preferences
source, using urlcheck/ldapcheck keywords ?

Curl probably supports http[s]://user:password@host/getPrefs.cgi
authtentication with http urls, but not ldap urls, how
this looks like from milter-greylist point of view?

LDAP-URL rfc does not support authentication (bind) operation
in-url.

I'd like to use some common user/password pair to access preferences
for all users, not the user/password of particular user for which
preferences are to be collected.

Regards,
Pior Wadas

If you specify a ldaps:// URL, you can use x509 authentication.
Your ldap.conf will have to contain references to CA, certificate
and private key.
