IANA registration?

IANA registration?

2004-06-16 by manu@netbsd.org

Hi

milter-greylist uses port 5252 for MX sync. I wonder if it makes sense
to register that to the IANA. I've never been into that, so I don't know
if it's the kind of thing that one should register or not.

I wonder if it's better to find existing protocol or port that can be used
for mx syncing, than making a new one.

It's too late, the protocol is already there.
