I don't know much about running patch.  This is the response I got:

# patch -p0 < spamd_patch
patching file spamd.c
patch: **** malformed patch at line 9: spamd_rcvhdr(priv, rcvhdr, SPAMD_BUFLEN);

Was I not supposed to include the first 4 lines?
