Hi, Just a couple of minor points about doing a fresh installation. Creating and then installing an RPM built from the tgz file creates /var/milter-greylist owned by root, however the default .conf sets the user to "smmsp". This stops milter-greylist from starting. The 'user="root"' setting in the init.d/milter- greylist is either innefective or over-ridden by the .conf file. It just took me about an hour to work out what the problem was, so hoping to make life easier for others. As a matter of interest, should it be running as smmsp rather than root ? Next, it might be worth mentioning the rpmbuild -tb milter-greylist- 3.0.tgz command option on the website, as it makes it a more attractive option to newer Linux users, and to people like myself that use Linux a fair bit but like the convenience of RPM's. The generated .conf file also appears to be an old V1.1 job with a reference to the (also now out of date) V2 .conf if you want to see more options. Any chance of getting that updated? It would be terrific if someone could install this and test it in minutes, with easier access to the various .conf options. Great program!
