Attached are corrected init scripts for Suse and Red Hat-based systems. 
They solve the problems I had when first installing on Suse and CentOS. I 
suggest replacing the current ones in the distribution. I attach full 
files since they are quite small.

Suse: removed those extra startup options that are not present in the 
other init scripts
Red Hat: moved $user to the OPTIONS and removed it from the daemon startup 
command
