Milter-greylist

hello ... I installed milter-greylist 1.6 recently on
RH9 (new install), and so far everything looks good
except the startup script. I used chkconfig with the
supplied rc-redhat.sh sample, but it hangs on startup.
I'm a bit if a light-weight when it comes to linux ...
do I need to end the milter-greylist command with an
ampersand ("&")?
