Off Topic, but is there any example source of showing how to talk to an
SD memory card out there anywhere?  I know you have to pay to get the
spec, but I also see mention on Linux drivers supporting it.  However, I
can't seem to find any of them..

Most importantly, SD cards are allowed to be physically larger. There 
are SDIO 802.11b and Bluetooth cards (and other peripherals too), but 
not for MMC. That's why I requested the SD connector.
