I'm thinking of laying out a board for the LPC210x. I don't need
much to get started, but if I'm going to put the effort into it, I may
as well attempt to make it useful to other people. Features I'm
thinking of:
MMC slot (SPI)
MCP23016 16 bit port expander (I2C, perhaps two of these)
64K bit FRAM memory (I2C)
PCF8563 RTC (I2C)
A/D converter (I2C) (unspec'ed. 8 channels, 10 bits?)
RESET, INT0, INT1, INT2 pushy buttons
DS18B20 temperature sensor (1-wire)
DS2411 silicon ID (1-wire)
DS2405 addressable switch (1-wire)
JTAG interface (both ports, Wiggler compatible)
UART0 MAX232 (or equivalent) level shifter, DB-9
UART1 MAX232 (or equvalent) level shifter, all control lines, DB-9
7-30V AC/DC input, 2.1mm coaxial (possibly switcher, probably linear)
1st MCP23016 would include 8 LEDs and 8 switches (rocker or pushy?)
2nd MCP2306 would be uncommitted, but have standard 14 pin LCD
connector.
LCD bias would be 0-5V, settable via a pot (or 1-wire digipot?)
I2C and SPI availabel on headers
5V @ 500ma, 3.3V @ 100ma available for user
All I/O pins brought out to headers
All I/O pins disconnectable from devices on board via jumper headers
Prototyping area? (I prefer to use connectors, rather than munging
up cards)
Anything I missed? Anything any absolutely must have?
