Moog Slayer Mod question 50k pots or 100k?

hi, I just got my poly 800 this week and love it already. Did the moog slayer mog the first day i got it and am new to modding....so my question is: I used 50k pots and they work fine and function throughout their whole turn....what difference would using 100k pots make. I am new to electronics so I am teaching myself all this while I work on my equipment....
