UnKnown Mod

UnKnown Mod

2014-06-02 by justmull@...

Hey all
I have what appears to be some sort of mod to my newly acquired poly 800. It's a 5 pin male din socket on the back that disappears under the main board of the synth as seen in the attached photos. Just wondering if anyone knows what this may possibly do to see if its worth investigating further. I don't think its any sort of midi thing given its a male socket but could be wrong.
Cheers
Justin

You will need to take photos of the back of the main board and see where the plug is patched in. Who knows, there might even be a board squeezed in under the main board. We can't possibly guess what that thing might do unless we get some detail on it.
