re sequencer/arpeggiator/ more

if the sequencer sent out MIDI, but had an
independant clock option, eg: if you could make
it run off-midi clock, but still send out midi-
and if there was
an analog 'velocity amount' control, that
affected the velocity values sent out, you'd
have an akai me20a 'arpeggiator' on the poly800,
but with patch memories. (and could add more
patterns/memories?)

if this had a transpose function, you could play
sequences in good ole 80s transpose mode (my sh101
came with a spt switch added for the transpose, never
seen this mod elsewhere)

and then you could have regular 'trad' arpeggiator,
or programmable, with the sequencer acting as patch
memory for it, using 'replace' modes.

being able to clock the arp/seq from external gate
input would be very nice.(irregular/rhythmic clock
trigs from a drum machine?..). and chord input could be
cool too.

A: The sequencer does send MIDI including when using external MIDI clock. Please add "if there was an analog 'velocity ' control, that affected the velocity values sent out for the sequencer," as a feature request on the hawk800 sourceforge project website.

A: this already exists in the HAWK800. The "Sequencer Follow Mode" uses the lower octave of the keyboard to allow transpose of the playing sequence.

Q: and then you could have regular 'trad' arpeggiator, or programmable, with the sequencer acting as patch memory for it, using 'replace' modes.

A: What's a "TRAD" arpeggiator?

Q: being able to clock the arp/seq from external gate input would be very nice.(irregular/rhythmic clock trigs from a drum machine?..). and chord input could be cool too.

A: there's a mod in the mods' section that provides external seq. clock.
