:-) Hilarious Well, being a swede as well as having been around in the 70's I do recognize this. You have to be aware though that the bands you see here are not the rock and pop bands of the 70's in Sweden. Their outfit was mostly nothing like this. The bands you see here represents a different genre, named dansband (danceband). See the webaddress SvenskaDansband.se (SwedishDanceBands.se) on the pictures. They work in a very oldfashioned and conservative genre. The bands still mostly look like this. The genre is really huge in the country side in Sweden. And has been so for a long time. It's really boring listening to this music. As you can imagine it has absolutely nothing to do with todays dance music. But the Poly 800 ruled... / Lasse T. ----- Original Message -----

LOL.. I bet #6 sounded like Schytt. I was a kid when ABBA hit the charts.. I began to like vocal trance music in the early 2k's... I played a Robert Miles CD on a road trip with my mother(who really liked ABBA in the 70's) in Arizona and the moment it began to play she said, "That sounds alot like ABBA!" She was kinda right... ABBA had a sound in the 70's that was ahead of it's time. -Blaine --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, Gordon JC Pearce wrote:
