Are you actually using a tape recorder? You will need to use the tape out socket. Playing it out through a headphone socket or line out will not be strong enough probably. Change Resistor R96 inside the Poly-800 to 4.7K. It will take some finding on the schematic. Then you can play from a computer or most modern playback methods then. I've always used my computer line out and didn't have to change R96 either. ________________________________

Yeah, silly me. R96 is the tape out from the Korg. It will give a stronger signal when you want to save your patches to tape. ________________________________

Yeah using a tape recorder with buttonup and down volume control. Had a "good" for the first two dumps. Then just couldnt load factory "preload" Very frustrating! --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, Martin Ator <cyllall@...> wrote:

you might want to try using a PC and grab the audio recording of the factory defaults from the files section here. ________________________________ From: Gary <chunkybeefpies@...> To: korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com Sent: Friday, October 21, 2011 7:25 PM Subject: [korgpolyex] Re: loading data onto keyboard Yeah using a tape recorder with buttonup and down volume control.
