Soft noise when EX800 chorus is enabled.

Soft noise when EX800 chorus is enabled.

2011-08-18 by JoeL

Hi, I just ran a full parameter check on a used EX800 I purchased. Everything checks out, but I noticed something odd about the chorus effect feature. When enabled I hear a soft noise along with the chorus and it becomes more pronounced when the main output is turned up. I was wondering if this was a malfunction of the MN3209/NE570 or if it was an attribute that all these analog chorus'es have.

Thanks

It is said that the Chorus is noisy itself, I haven't heard that much, but OTOH I never turn the Poly-800 more than 5/6 as I have the mods installed...
