Battery Mod

Battery Mod

2008-12-30 by tyrone_topheavy

Hey all ! I solved my NJM Filter problem (Thanks !). Found a used one
for $20 and replaced it, and as I assumed, it was the missing leg (No
11) It was indeed keeping Osc 1 from sounding.

Now, I also did a battery mod, but it's not saving patches. I'm
thinking I did it wrong. Here's a pic.

The Diode goes to the negative terminal on the battery, and the
positive goes where the leg of the diode used to be soldered. Did I do
it right ?

I'm not quite sure what it's supposed to do. From the description, you
may have the battery connected backwards?

I would love to know the details of the supplier from where you obtained the filter chip!

Mike.

Sound doctorin, in Montana. The guy sells mostly used keys, and I -Mailed
him out of the blue asking if he had a junk Poly of EX laying around. He
did, and sold me the NJM for $20.00.

Tyrone, I'm looking for a Poly/EX motherboard, how do I contact this

    I do love trash :o)

Many of my "toys" incuiding tools are made from discarded electronic
equipment. The world of inventors runs on surplus from richer people. So bad
here in Brazil we don't have as many facilities as americans and english
people have. We have no surplus shops with perfectly useable test gear as
yours, nor components at a cheap rate as you. But we can do some fancy
things with the little we have :oD

One man's trash, is another man's treasure :oD
Alexandre, the official recycler of my house :D

Like the business located in Montana referred to in this thread, those
surplus stores in north america are often located in places far away
from major cities because vast warehouse space is available cheaply
there to store stuff that rarely sells. So maybe if you go out deep in
the jungle in Brazil, you'll find one?
