Poly800 lfo problem

Poly800 lfo problem

I recently bought another Poly800 and there is a weird problem with
the joystick modulation. The synth will go into full modulation, as
if the joystick was pushed all the way up, even when the joystick is
centered.
It's not just internal, either. I tried using the Poly800 to control
my MS2000 and I got the modulation in the MS as well.
I assume this is some simple adjustment, but can anyone tell me how to
do it or what to look for?

Hi,are you sure,that theres no modulation in internal parameter 83-84 ? ( it must be 00 ). & I think,that may be problems with potenciometer in joystick.( it may be that any wire to pot is ragged ). Best regards.Alexandro.

the pot in the joystick could be broken... try just disconnecting the joystick and if it eliminates the effect then that's it. replacing the pot could be a bitch though...

No, the LFO settings within the patch(es) are fine. I'll look at the
wiring to the joystick and then try disconnecting it. I'll report
back my findings.

Hi.Also try to see the wires from joystocs pot to the board,may be problems with wires or with conecting it to main board.
