Anything more than "slightly discernible" noise might be a problem.

Manu, On the noise issue... Both my Poly and EX show some very slightly discenible background hiss. But the noise is completely undetectable when a note is played. So if you have anything more than just slightly noticeable then you may have a problem. Mike H.
