Korg Poly800/EX800 Users

When I change patches, the delay effect takes a second or two 
to "catch up". Also, any tweaking on the delay takes a second or so to 
register also. Is this normal or is mine having problems.

Mine works similarly.  And the one I had in the 80's
also.  Back then it really bugged me, and I sampled
the patches so I could alternate between the poly and
the samples live.

I'm not in such a hurry now.

That was smart thinking with the sampler. I like using the step 
sequencer and changing patches so this is why I have a problem with 
it. It's livable though. All of my synths have one limitation or 
another. I should look at it like Brian Eno and view the limitation 
as a feature.
