If it already has a CR2032 battery in it, as Gordon says you just unsolder the old battery and solder in a new one. It’s a bit of a pain to get it open,

If I remember correctly, the patch corruption is caused by a stack overflow that pushes the stack up into the patch memory when MIDI comes into fast for Poly
