Which version of the AtomaHawk kit do you have?
If you have version 1.4, you need to set global parameter 58 to value 1. That version has surface mounted chips.
If you have versions previous to version 1.4, then global parameter 58 needs to be set to value 0.
When you change parameter 58, you have then select a patch and the hardware will switch over.
Which version do you have and is global parameter 58 set correctly?
