Well, you shouldn't get all upset about it. The Polys and the EX were made loooooonnnnnnnggg before editing hardware via a PC was common, especially non-sampling units. Most apps these days for hardware made in the '80s and early '90s are user-created apps anyway. Unless, of course, you want to dig up an old Atari system and use that. I'm sure others here have more relevant answers, however I wonder, aside from triggering notes via MIDI, and possibly a SYSEX dump to save patches, why you need an editor for the EX in the first place? It's such an easy unit; sounds to me like more trouble to implement an editor for it than it is just to reach over and punch a few buttons. --- In korgpolyex@yahoogroups.com, "the_emulatorii" <epiphone@y...> wrote: > hey there!!!! > > i have an EX800 - like it very much, but there is one thing i don´t > quite understand... > > why is there no editor-module for the EX800 or POLY800 in a > professional software like sóund-diver from emagic??? > > they have them all - you can even controll a memory-moog with sound- > diver... ????????BUT WHY NOT EX800 / POLY800?????????? > > the customer service can´t really help, they said i should be > patient - but i posted an email more than two years ago - same > topic - same answer - please be patient... > > here the questionbs: > > which functions of the EX800 are controlable via MIDI/sysex > is there maybe a "freeware-editor arround somewhere? > > thanx, simon
