Come on guys, if you can jiggle the cable and it works, then it's just a loose connection. Pay Radio Shack $5 for the 30-cent female 1/4 TRS plug. Get "epoxy solder" and you don't even have to worry about solder gun heat. $40 Canadian is too good to pass up. peter_vh01 wrote: > > > hell everyone, > > > > a guy in town is offering me a poly 800 for $40 > (canadian). the thing > > is, the audio apparently goes in and out from the > 1/4 inch output. > > here's what he said: > > > > "well here's the thing. it works sometimes and > sometimes it doesn't. > > sometimes you have to jiggle it, sometimes you > have to turn it off and > > back on and sometimes nothing comes out at all...i > had a guy at > > songbird [local vintage instrument dealer] look at > it and he said it's > > definitely the output, there's nothing wrong with > any of the circuit > > boards or anything." > > > > Anyone worth experience deal with a Poly 800 like > this?
