had a similar problem with my poly MKI. I don't have a back up
battery, so when the poly was power down I loose my patches and the
parameters was all messed up, strange values appears and the poly made
crazy noises. If it is the case you just have to put back the factory
patches into your synth. Hope it will fix your problem.
