Hi all

Hi all

2003-12-09 by didinefirst

just discovered the group today, i have had my K3 for about 5 months
now and i just love it, nothing like these unimaginative synts they
do today (far cheaper also :)).

I just wanted to ask a few simple questions:

1) Any idea of a librarian who could dump and load patches to my K3,
for PC.

2) Still regarding patches on kawai web site there is that archive of
patches, which sysEx file is the factory one?

3)Is it still possible to find K3 patch cartridges?

Well if someone got any response i would really appreciate.

There's an Atari ST editor that you can run in an Atari ST emulator
under Windows or Linux. You can download the editor here:
 http://tamw.atari-users.net/dwnloads.htm

I've used it, it works, although you're on your own with the emulator.
I'd suggest STeem. Does anyone know of other Atari ST sysex
editor/librarians?

I don't know if patch ROM cartridges were ever manufactured, but the
Kawai RC-2 RAM cartridge still turns up for sale on Ebay every once in
a while. I think I paid US$12 used for mine a few months ago.

Good luck,
Ben

Move to quarantaine

This moves the raw source file on disk only. The archive index is not changed automatically, so you still need to run a manual refresh afterward.
