Hi K3ers. Ive been having great fun with my recently aquired K3 and even more when I got hold of a RC-2 cartridge. Now I'm getting familiar with the set waves, I want to start exploring the additive feature. It was Soundonsound Synth Secret articles , that got me interested in this beast. The explanation of how a K3 can emulate hammond drawbars is a excellent introduction to the K3. Now im trying to go beyond that and try some other wave types. Can anyone point me in the right direction on the following? Is there a simple formula/method to converting a wave shape into a additive spectra. eg if i want to make Triangle waves of different slopes, Is there a simple formula, or is this where the fourier transform thingo makes additive synthisis hard work? It would be cool to be able to see the resulting wave forms. Can anyone suggest some kind of freeware app or plugin that lets you see the resulting wave forms? Thanks J
