Larry -- Sorry about the poor response you've gotten from this list, although the STEEM joke was kind of funny! The K3 is definitely not a waste of time. People are paying lots more for stupid keyboards like the Juno 106. The K3 verges on sounds you can get with a Waldorf Microwave with serious analog warmth. They are also built like tanks. Running a K3 editor on an ST emulator (under linux i presume) might be pretty fringe, but assuming that the MIDI implementation works under STEEM I don't see why it wouldn't work.
