I know this has most likely been covered .. but I'm new to this group and
EXS usage.

But is are there any resources for good free EXS Drumkits on the net?.

I have heaps od great synthy drum type stuff .. but I really need some
realisic funk/jazz acoustic kits.

Any help would be great ..

Thanks in advance.

Just download the giga-format kit, pop it in your sampler imstruments folder
and use the EXS to convert it. Works fine...

i just uploaded an EXS24 patch i did a while back for the natural
studio ns-kit, hope people find it useful. It's just a straightforward
mapping, but feel free to tweak to your own tastes

enjoy

Not surprisingly, I can't seem to decompress this using Stuffit Expander on
Mac (although it does unstuff the first part, it then asks for a part that
doesn't seem to exist). How can I decompress this on Mac?
Thanks,

Paul

Paul,

You¹ll need a RAR decompressor. I don¹t know their URL, but ŒMacPAR deluxe¹
works fine. I just did a name search on www.versiontracker.com and found it
that way. Hope that helps.

I just downloaded the exs format map for the ns kit, but my exsp is
not seeing it, nor does Translator, which usually recognizes almost
any format.. Any hints?
thanks,
scott
