[GEN] Resolution of my difficulties getting an EXS24 Permanent Authorization

[GEN] Resolution of my difficulties getting an EXS24 Permanent Authorization

2002-06-01 by Bob Vandiver

Hey gang,

I wish to tell all of you something that I think is very important.

While I cannot comment on whether Emagic USA is understaffed, as some have
suggested, I can confirm that they are definitely good people.

Within a day of my posting my account of what had happened to my attempts to
authorize my EXS24 I received a response from Emagic USA that was both very
helpful and ultimately fixed the problem. I should point out that I posted
my complaint early into the Memorial Day Weekend here in the US and I
received my response shockingly rapidly -- well before the holiday weekend
was over. I was very pleasantly surprised!

Last night I received my permanent authorization.

It was a complicated situation and it is impossible to say where all the
difficulty arose from. I can definitely say, however, that Emagic USA is one
class act!

Some have complained that Emagic is nonresponsive. If Emagic USA seems to be
nonresponsive, they are doing whatever it takes to repair this image of
being nonresponsive: they were very responsive to me.

Also, it might be worth mentioning that those who complain of a
nonresponsive Emagic, well, there might be more to their situation(s) than
they are willing to admit in our forum.

Sincerely,

Bob Vandiver,
Portland, Oregon

Glad you had a good experience. I know for a fact, some bad things have
happened to some good people, but we all love Emagic anyway. Glad you had a
good experience. I have noticed that their customer support has improved
drastically over the last couple years. -Jer

Deal Extended

2002-06-01 by Rubber Chicken Software Co.

Just a note; due to our delays in the last week or so, we've decided to
extend the $49.95 Translator deal until Monday night, June 3rd.

We'll be getting a list of successful translated CD's on our site next
week, so you can see which ones have been thoroughly tested.
